If you're finances are more complicated this year, you may want to hire a professional to help.
Either way, you'll need to gather all of your tax forms. Below are some of the common forms that you might be expecting depending on your circumstances. Some will be mailed to you, others may be available electronically. Check your emails to ensure you don't miss any notifications.

Roth IRA contributions:

If you are making contributions to your Roth IRA, be aware that there are income limits. If you have a high income, you might not be eligible to contribute! Be sure to discuss your Roth contributions with your tax preparer each year or check the limits yourself. If you made contributions that are not allowed, you can remove them without penalty before the tax-filing deadline.
